No. Independent link testing starts from an existing survey URL, without connecting a platform account. Your team or programming partner can keep building and editing the survey with their current tools.
What should I bring?
Start with a test or QA link, then add the questionnaire so Questra can derive checks from the researcher’s requirements. Browser agents submit answers as they test, so use a test link rather than a production fielding URL.
What will the report show?
The report groups checks by question and shows their outcomes. Investigate failures through the observed respondent behavior, paths, and screenshots. Passed checks provide context on what was exercised; checks that could not be completed also need attention.
Do tests re-run automatically?
Independent link tests run on demand. After your team updates the survey, start another run. Continuous testing after saved revisions is available for connected, supported surveys in Questra’s programming product.
Will it change my survey code?
No. It returns findings for your team to investigate and address. Automatic code review and AI-proposed source changes are available when you import or program the survey in Questra. In that workflow, you review and explicitly apply each proposed change.
Does testing cover every possible issue?
Reports show the checks and paths that were exercised, including findings and checks that could not be completed. Use that evidence alongside your study-specific review. A passing result is not a guarantee that every possible path or issue was covered.
How is independent testing billed?
Browser testing uses test minutes from your workspace’s included or purchased balance. Your workspace shows usage and available minutes. You can use independent link testing without having Questra program the survey.
